First of all I got there a half hour before my appointment and was waited on right away. Second of all, the dentist was great at performing the service I needed from the beginning to the end and made me aware of everything that he was doing as well as made sure that I was feeling okay the entire time. Third of all, I was finished really quickly and last of all the staff was great. I want to give a shoutout to A Touch of Smiles Dental Care! Dr. Susan Ra, and her staff saved my Thanksgiving holiday! 1 week before Thanksgiving I had a tremendous tooth ache, and had to have a tooth extraction. Well Touch of Smiles was able to fit me into their busy pre holiday schedule, and perform the necessary dental work in a remarkably efficient manner. After the necessary surgery my mouth started feeling a lot better right away, thus I was able to enjoy my Thanksgiving dinner! At Touch of Smiles Dental Care, you can expect a warm welcome, a comfortable environment, and top-quality dental care. When you walk in to Wanda, she acts like you made her day. She becomes the happiest person when she sees you.
Then when you go back into the clinic, everything is so thorough. My hygienist, Julie, she is so excited to treat you. I know when I walk in, all I want to do is make it good for you. And I think everyone’s intentions are so good. And we try our best every single day, every single moment. We give everything we have every single day.
I have a beautiful smile now because of here, you know? I just…I wouldn’t have had that any other way. When I’ve been to other dentists, it was, okay, you go into the dentist’s office, you get x-rays, you go do this, and then they send you to a surgeon. And then the surgeon does all that stuff. And then this one does all that stuff.
And with Dr. Ra…because she’s done all these classes. And she’s done all these special conferences, and things like that. She’s gotten certified to do all this stuff. So I put my trust in her. She just said, you know, I can do this. You don’t need to go anywhere else. I will take care of you. And she did, took care of me from start to finish.
It was something that I always wanted. And I always saw those after pictures and didn’t think that would ever be me. When I saw this going on, oh, my gosh, it was crazy. When you’re used to being embarrassed for a lot of years, like, that is something that’s priceless to get back, to not be embarrassed when you’re opening your mouth, you know? My kids couldn’t believe it.
They were, like, so shocked that I was smiling and they could see my teeth because they weren’t used to that. They were always used to me smiling like that, you know? And so my kids were, like, they would interrupt me when I was talking. Like, “Mom, Mom, I just have to tell you this. I can’t believe how good your teeth…” Like, they would interrupt me and I would be so happy, you know, when they did. It was huge for me to hear and see their reactions. Yeah, they still talk about it, you know?
